Scholarship Coverage
Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships provide recipients with the following advantages:
- The Excellence Scholarship recipients are eligible for an additional 500 EUR discount per semester (1000 EUR discount/year).
- The recipients of this Excellence Scholarship are also eligible to benefit from a reduction during the remainder of their education subject to these conditions:
- Outstanding study performance
- They will be working for 60 hours per semester in an administrative office at METU beginning at the beginning of the 2nd semester. It could involve marketing, sales, representation at higher education fairs, organizing student-related events, etc.
Eligibility Criteria for Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships
To be qualified to be considered for Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Required Languages: English
- Eligible Countries: All World Countries
Candidates who demonstrate academic excellence/Bachelor’s level/:
- English level min. C1
- Excellent performance in the Skype interview as part of the interview process.
- If a Math test is required, applicants must score a minimum of 80%
- For Art and Design Programs, the instructors should provide an outstanding score for the design portfolio (min. 30/35).
- GPA at high school and grades minimum. 80%, e.g. :
- SAT 1280/1600
- IB 6/7
- Cambridge IGCSE minimum. 2. A or 4. AS levels.
- We also accept other high schools that have international or national diplomas. GPA must be at or above 80percent.
Candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, masters or doctoral level:
- English level min. C1.
- Excellent performance in the Skype interview in your application.
- If you are in the Art and Design Programs, professors must give an outstanding score for the design portfolio (min. 30/35).
- Minimum GPA for Bachelors. 88%, if it’s offered at your previous university, you must have. First Class Bachelor Hons Degree.
- The Admission Committee will make the final decision regarding the scholarship allocation. Admission Committee.
- The maximum of recipients of scholarships is 30 students.
