External Scholarships:

• Students are supported through Qatar University and these scholarships are accompanied by exemption from tuition charges, the provision of accommodation at the university, one-way airfare for the year, and exemption from textbook fees.

Internal scholarships

• The scholarship grants exemption from tuition charges and costs for books.

Outstanding Performance Scholarship:

• These scholarships include exemption from tuition costs only.

Eligibility Criteria For Qatar University Scholarships

Candidates must meet the requirements to be considered for Qatar University The following criteria must be met for scholarships at Qatar University:

Internal scholarships

• Candidates must meet the requirements for admission to the school and the major they applied for. Along with that, they must submit the official, final high school transcript to newly admitted students.
• The scholarship must be received within the same term of the year that the award was made (mainly registration for and passing the classes) otherwise it will be terminated during that time and the student will be informed via QU email.

External Scholarships:

• Candidates must meet the requirements for admission to the school and the major the college or major they are applying to. In addition, they must submit the official, final high school transcript to newly admitted students.
• The scholarship must be received within the same term of the year during which the award was made (mainly enrolling for and passing the classes) Otherwise it will be canceled at the end of the term. The student will be informed via QU email.

To qualify for the award of H.H. and the Emirate of Qatar’s Scholarships to Academic Excellence you must acquire the following:

• Hold a Qatari Secondary Education Certificate.
• A minimum of 95% is required for Secondary school certificates.
• The applicant must be a high school graduate during the year that the application for the scholarship is completed.
• The awards for these scholarships are only awarded in the Fall semester.
• The scholarship must be utilized by the student in the first term of the year in which the scholarship was granted (mainly enrolling for and passing the classes) Otherwise it will then be terminated during that time and the student will be informed via QU email.

Outstanding Performance Scholarship:

• You must be enrolled at Qatar University.
• The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 from 4.00.
• You must have completed at least 30 credit hours of QQ.
• Students who have the highest GPA will be selected.
